SUP Awards Presented by Tommy Bahama Honors Top Philanthropic Efforts of 2015

Each year SUP magazine recognizes the year’s top philanthropic endeavors and allows the public to choose just one to receive the highest honor and a portion of table sales from the 2015 SUP Awards presented by Tommy Bahama.

“For such a young sport, SUP has an amazing amount of philanthropic efforts—and they just continue to get bigger and better,” says SUP magazine Editor-In-Chief Will Taylor. “The award for Top Philanthropic Effort really embodies what this fantastic community is about.”

Log on to by Sept. 3rd to vote for your Top Philanthropic Effort as well as Top Female and Male Paddlers of the year, Top Expedition presented by GoPro and Movie of the Year. All voters will be entered to win big prizes from event sponsors!

The SUP Awards are standup paddling’s highest honor, recognizing the absolute best that the sport has to offer each year. Honorees will be presented at the SUP Awards show presented by Tommy Bahama, Thursday, October 8, 2015, at the historic Casino San Clemente in San Clemente, Calif.  The Awards show will precede the inaugural Pacific Paddle Games presented by Salt Life, Oct. 10-11 at Doheny State Beach, boasting a $55,000 prize purse, making this the biggest week in SUP.
